BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Police in Bellevile continue to search for clues into the disappearance of a 27-year-old woman who has been missing for five days.

Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd didn't show up at work on Friday, leading her family to contact police.

Helicopter and ground searches near the woman's home over the weekend turned up no signs into the mystery and a police forensic team returned to her residence Monday.

In a press conference on Monday afternoon, police said they still consider the disappearance as suspicious, but have concluded their ground search.

Police also addressed the thousands of supporters who are posting on a Facebook site dedicated to finding Jessica Lloyd, to not speculate and spread rumours about the missing woman.

Posters with information about the missing woman have been put up as far away as Ottawa.

Lloyd was last heard from late Thursday night, when she sent a text message to a friend. Police would not comment on the content of the message.

Friends have told media when they went to the woman's apartment they found her purse and eye glasses.

Lloyd is described as five-feet, five-inches tall and about 125 pounds. She has green eyes and dark brown hair, shoulder-length hair.
