Paul Godfrey has been offered the job of CEO of the much-maligned Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, an Ontario government source confirmed to Global News on Friday.
Godfrey still has to be officially approved by a legislative committee.
A government spokesperson says Godfrey is a good choice, given his record running large organizations like the National Post and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Godfrey is expected to take over the job in the next couple of months.
